COOL IT

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you, declares the LORD. Jeremiah 29:11-13

I've always loved this verse..but I have to confess, I have doubted. And I'll be honest..I feel like I can't see a foot in front of me. But I'm learning that faith is not simply knowing that God can..it's knowing that He will. Me and my friend have been talking about this a lot lately. We want to control our circumstances, relationships, and future....we want to control our life. I swear I have OCD. I want to know where I'm doing, what will happen, who it involves, when it will happen..I like organization. The Lord will provide... I just need to step back...and wait..and listen. I pray He unites my heart with His so that the desires of my heart, are the desires of His. I need to seek Him with my whole, undivided heart and find Him...to know He hears His children when they call upon Him..and to wait and listen to the perfect plans He has for us.
